From the beginning in 1957 Max-Torque was a leader in clutches for small engine applications.
In the prime of go-karting the Max-Torque Special was created. It won National Championships in 1966, 1967, 1968, and 1969.
This kart was clocked at 148mph and was driven by the late Don Surwall. Max-Torque had the original designer, Harv Aschenbrenner, construct this exact duplicate, which is accurate right down to the decals.
